Hush

When I started this painting I had a pretty good picture of what I wanted. But as per usual, it came alive and grew into something quietly wild and peaceful; edging into the realm of fairytalesque. At the start my oil paint pallet contained mostly greens and some browns, but through the unyielding process it began to expand into a blend of golds, purples, and even a sprinkle of reds. Resulting in a unique and soothing park setting. The final out come evolved into something that seems untouched by time or the harsh outside world that surrounds it. A safe haven, if you will, for those who search for it.
